Al J. Schneider was a true Louisville visionary who was responsible for changing the landscape of Louisville. Mr. Schneider built hotels, schools, banking institutions, office complexes and medical facilities but his greatest achievement was his family. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider had six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. In the Schneider family Sunday dinner was a time when they could all sit around a table and be together. In homage to the Schneider family Sunday supper, we have created AL’s Table. AL’s Table serves the same dishes your family and the Schneider family had at the dining room table for Sunday supper with a Louisville twist. Many of our menu items came from Mr. Schneiders favorites provided to us from his family. Al’s Table is an unexpected place for Louisville families and out of town guest to gather and experience the best of Louisville. Our well curated menu, cocktails and bourbon list provides an experience for everyone.

    Appetizers were ok. Steak tips over cooked. Fried green tomatoes and zucchini stick was best part of the meal. Small piece of salmon. We had to send meatloaf back as it was inedible. Extremely dry and had fish taste. Service was great.

    Strange layout. Not at all what we expected. Clean and neat, huge restaurant in the basement with very low ceilings. Felt like being in the basement of a 1950's house. All 5 tables with customers were lined up closely to one another in a row, while the entire rest of the place was empty. No privacy. Weird. Corn fritters and drinks very good. Deviled eggs were liquidy and the potato soup was a puree. Rolls were very average. Service was great. A good place to go if you're stuck in the area of the airport, but nowhere I'd choose to return.

    Restaurant was empty. Meatloaf was salty and dry. Fritters needed salt. Out of all ipas except for a Fall IPA, which wasn’t an IPA. Waiter reeked of smoke and appeared to be stoned.

    Beautiful restaurant but they only offered a buffet. Biscuits were hard, eggs were cold, orange juice was excellent, bacon was chewy. Waitress was wonderful.. I just wish she had better food to offer.
