   Went there for my anniversary and the service was outstanding. Food was really impressive and I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot for a special occasion.

   Went here for a business dinner. Everyone loved the food! We ordered almost all of the apps and it didn’t disappoint

   This restaurant is so great. I’ve dined here twice now, at the recommendation of a girlfriend that works in tech. I keep meaning to go to the open air, garden like beautiful main room, but the bar room is such a vibe and is jammin’ at night and even has live music, sometimes. The food is *delicious* and my friend even said his ravioli was maybe the best thing he’d ever eaten. We had a bottle of white wine from New Zealand, the honey nut squash and apple and endive salad and I had the lamb. The service was the best I’ve had in NYC so far. Go have fun here with friends!

   Plates are on the smaller side but definitely adequate. Also allows you to try more dishes. Staff was amazing and attentive. The food was delicious with some very inventive cocktails, Ambiance in the garden room was wonderful and I am glad I selected it over the main dining room which looked more like a cafeteria. Would highly recommend so long as you are not a standard meat and potatoes kind of eater.

   We visited Altair Restaurant on Sunday evening and had high hopes. For our entrée, we ordered the sea bass and ratatouille, which was delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the same standard. The experience started off with our appetizer arriving before our drinks, and we ended up waiting quite a while for our entrée as well. This was surprising, given that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. We felt we were left unattended for long stretches without any check-ins. While the food is certainly good, the restaurant could benefit from improving the speed from kitchen to table and ensuring that servers are more attentive to guests. We’d love to come back, but only if the service experience improves.

   Juan was our waiter and he was excellent. He made me the best americano coffee that I’ve had all year. His service was impeccable. Can’t wait to return.
