Alter House Restaurant and Bar is a family owned Farm-to-Table Restaurant and Event Venue dedicated to seasonal, sustainable cuisine. It is our culinary mission to source the finest ingredients from regional farmers, artisan purveyors and local farms whenever possible.     The Caesar salad was dry, so dry that I couldn’t eat it. There was hardly any dressing on it, the lettuce was shredded like it would be on a taco, there were no croutons and no anchovies. It was the worst caesar I have ever had. The lobster fettucine was just claw meat. I expect shortcuts from lesser establishments but for what they charge, there shouldn’t be any shortcuts. My companions pork chop was juicy and excellent. It was very loud, so loud that we had to scream to talk, probably because they had a loud musician.

    Mara, Thank you for your feedback. Thursdays with entertainment we do find it to be louder with people enjoying the music. The best time for a quieter experience would be Sundays from 3-6PM. We find our small plates are best shared with the company at your table and therefore we offer a few more over the entrees. Hope to see you soon.
