Where Do I Park in Downtown?Now that our winter season is in FULL SWING in Delray Beach, you may find parking to be a challenge in Downtown, but there are plenty of lots and garages in Downtown Delray that are being underutilized during peak times.Even though the Delray Beach Market is closed for renovations - the private parking garage is still open. Enter on SE 1st Street.Other underutilized garages include Robert Federspiel Garage on SE 1st Avenue and 4th & 5th Delray (IPIC) Garage on SE 4th Avenue. Those public garages are free before 4pm and on Sundays.

The last time we enjoyed amar we dined at their original location. Now at the former Mellow Mushroom this bigger, more atmospheric locale is elevating Amar to Michelin status. Griselda our server was excellent and we dined on a Wednesday with half-off wines. The pairing with our food and a Turkish coffee with cardamom at dessert with an Aish was tremendous. PS A billing hiccup was easily resolved after leaving for the night and Michael was great to work with. 10 of 10!

Food was very tasty and flavorful! The waitress was friendly and prompt! And the restaurant was decorated very nicely! They have a very good happy hour, lots to choose from! And there was an oriental dancer as a show during dinner! I love this new location! So much better than the old one was too small! Will go again!

We continually take friends and family to Amar. We absolutely love Justin!!!! He’s such an amazing young man!! He is such a happy person and his attitude is almost infectious! Our guests commented on how Justin worked so well with other staff members. He’s a real keeper especially in the summer when business may slow down! Amar is one of our favorite restaurants in Delray Beach, and the new location is stunning! We had an amazing meal, perfectly curated through Justin’s delectable recommendations. Highly recommend the harissa hummus, the lentil salad, batata harra, and the prawns. Dinner was topped off with a piece of baklava, which was one of the best I’ve had. Props to Justin for making a special night out memorable and wonderful in every way!
