   A wonderful dining experience from the moment we walked in! Our waitress was attentive, the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was classy but not stuffy! I would definitely recommend this place. It is a treasure in the small town of Roan Mtn. We will be returning in the future.

   Celebrated our 35th anniversary here tonight. Being relatively new to TN, we hadn't yet visited any steakhouses, so I relied on researching reviews online. Americano Steak House had really good reviews, so although it was an hours drive, I was excited to take my wife here. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. We started with the calamari appetizer which we really enjoyed. The prime ribeye I ordered med rare was actually quite rare. Had this been the only issue, I could have still enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it was extremely fatty. I don't think I've ever sent back a steak before, as I'm really not a picky eater. However, after a few bites I just couldn't do it. I told the waitress who offered another ribeye or a different cut. I opted for the NY strip which was much better although still more rare than a normal med rare piece of meat I order. The caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes were good as sides. I ended up eating after my wife was nearly finished. She order a filet with shrimp and sides of crusted brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. She loved her meal, which was great. The atmosphere seemed to me more of a family restaurant (several families with kids there) vs. a classy steakhouse which I was kind of hoping for at these prices (don't think I'd categorize as $30 and under though unless you have chicken or fish and no appetizers). Overall it was still nice to get out for a drive and try a new place. We always like supporting smaller towns/businesses, and we liked the fact this place is veteran owned (I'm also a vet). Might be back, might not.

   Great but small place. We have been twice and the food is still amazing. The owners were there and came by to ask how everything was. Highly recommend. We will be back.

   Exceptional dining experience every single time! Top notch. Never disappointed. Americano sets the bar very high! Highly recommend this little gem in Roan Mtn.

   Great experience and better food. Our waitress was top notch as well. We will be back as this was our first time here. We are semi local… 30 minute drive.

    There is a reason Americano has one the People’s Choice Award. They are THE best steak house in NE Tennessee. Hands down. Faith is a delightful server. Our food came out on very hot plates and prepared exactly as it should be. Not our first time, wont’ be the last.
