   This was some of the best food I have had in a very long time. I was with a group and we ordered multiple items and every dish was amazing! Loved the decor, the music and the intimate setting. A must visit!

   It was crowded, they only had one bartender, I asked the waitress for a glass of water and ordered a beverage and it never came, when I said something to the waitress her face was frowned up and not friendly at all, she said they were understaffed.

   Food and service were outstanding (as usual). We had the catfish & grits, brunch turkey burger, and the apple spring rolls. Everything was perfectly delicious! It’s such a beautiful restaurant too. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning. YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!!!

   Absolutely everything tasted WONDERFUL! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent. Quality food and service… worth every dime.

   Beautiful restaurant! Food came out quickly. There are so many interesting things on the menu. It’s hard to know what to pick. We ordered several things for the table and everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant.

   The restaurant was amazing. The ambience was breathtaking. The art on the walls are African and tribal. The restaurant gave an appeal to my roots and my heritage. I’m impressed by the size of oxtails and their impressive sweet potato recipe.

    The first thing I would say is that they don't have enough staff. They squeeze as many people as they can, even if that means sacrificing a proper walkway. The pictures that you see online, don't be fooled by them because there is a very long table that can seat 10 to 12 people and that table can be vertical or horizontal. Depending on which way it's turned will depend on the walking space. If it is horizontal, and you have smaller tables on each end of that long table, then unfortunately those people at those smaller tables are going to get a whole lot of booty in their face every time people need to walk through that small opening. I was there for brunch and I will say that I do not believe that each and every item is made fresh to order. Maybe 80%. The food was very good, I absolutely brought my leftovers home; however due to the service received, or not received, I will not be returning. It's a one and done for me. They can definitely do better.
