The kitchen staff was more attentive than the waitress that took our order. The waitress rarely checked on the table and forgot to bring our water and other requested items to our table. Other than the bronzino being served a little cold the food was good. Will definitely consider going back but only if we don’t have the same server! No way did she deserve the automatic gratuity. Our table had to tip the kitchen staff separately to make sure they knew we appreciated their service.

The place is small but did not affect my experience. Music was great, food was delicious. I would definitely be returning. Well done. ❤️

I went for Restaurant Week. I got the Peri Peri Wings, the Seafood Potpie, and the Cobbler. The food was so good and my bartender was so good. I think his name Ras or Raz, it was his first day. He made me a blueberry and strawberry, lemon drop that was so so good. I'm definitely going back.

I recently dined at Amina with 2 of my besties. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! For starters we shared Peri Peri Wings and deviled eggs-VERY GOOD! For my meal, I had the scallops appetizer with a side of fried cabbage & candied yam puree - EXCELLENT! My besties chose the Restaurant Week menu - One had the cheesesteak beignets and the Branzino with asparagus and the other had the Turkey Wings for her 2nd course with a side of collard greens. They expressed that everything was VERY GOOD! Of course we shared an order of the cornbread- SOOO GOOD!! We all had the Warrior Princess cocktail and the Peach Cobbler hand pie for dessert - VERY VERY GOOD! Our server, Ebony, was OUTSTANDING - very friendly, personable, excellent customer service!

Overall place was a nice experience. Food wasn’t the best flavor wise and consistency wasn’t through and through. Drinks was good (espresso martini). Crab cake wasn’t lump crab and chicken wings was too big for my liking.

I just went for restaurant week. First time there and i will not return. The restaurant is too small. Tables are literally on top of each other. Barely any space to move around. My drink was weak. The turkey wings were good. The sticky wings were good. The peach cobbler hand pies was basically a peach empananda. The banana pudding looked like it was made for a child. Service was slow and dysfunctional. On top of that they automatically charged 20% gratuity for a table of 3. And was told this is automatic. There system was down so no receipt. I do not recommend, go somewhere else. There are many more options downtown.
