   Lovely wait staff. Great music. Excellent food and plentiful. Creative menu. Very good ambience, though semi-lost in a shopping strip. Parking a great improvement over its prior location in downtown Sarasota. They did not rush us. Would go back.

   We have enjoyed many times. However tonight disappointed. Obvious price increases not a problem however when my husbands dish was dry and lack in broth the waitress/owner Syed broth is on bottom. And walked away. So when we finished she returned stating are you done we said yes and she then said well I have more broth coming.. we just said no just package it up My Mozambique also dry with white rice ..?? Never had white with it before and also veggies that were shredded in sauce.. had beets.. I’ve had many Mozambique and never was there a beets in it. Very disappointing. Probably won’t go back.

   What a gem! Amazing food and excellent service. One of our favorite places to dine! Consistently delicious food! Owners are so friendly and take such pride in every meal they serve!

   We keep coming back here praying it will be better as it’s the only Portuguese restaurant around but it never gets better. Our dishes were without the main ingredient and too much peppers and onions and other insignificant items. Service is always good. If you go on the nights they have entertainment you end up listing to karaoke at best. Just can’t go back. I should say I’ve never tried the Italian side of the menu so maybe that’s better.

   Our server was excellent. She knew when to come over, poured the water and served our wine. The food was very good, large portions, and very tasty. The dessert was excellent.

    we had not been to amore since it was located on longboat key, years ago; but we are thrilled to have rediscovered it. liana was great and the music very low key and elevator music. perfect for conversations without having to speak loudly. and the food was divine. i had the best caprese i’ve had in sarasota while my wife enjoyed a succulent lobster bisque. her short ribs were wonderful and i let liana choose between two meals for me. she chose the lobster and shrimp amore, which was not only extremely generous, it was delightful as well. we look forward to sharing a meal with friends our next visit. enjoy
