Been meaning to go to Andrew Edmund’s for ages and told it was a proper grown up traditional British/french restaurant and that’s true but often that can also be code for ‘old fashioned’ or ‘used to be good’ which isn’t the case here at all. The staff were really friendly and not at all stuffy, really patient and thoughtful - asked for recommendations on the wine (outstanding wine menu) and ended up with a really perfect, and not expensive, bottle to match our mains. Food was all beautifully fresh and succulent. All round a real treat. In a sea of pop-up’s and shiny new things it’s lovely to find somewhere doing the important things right. Thank you.

Poor service, felt like a stranger in a fast food, got send downstairs with no ambiance whatsoever. Food below average. Not so expensive though. With the other alternatives in Soho it’s the last place I would go back to

Great flavors, romantic atmosphere and very friendly staff. This would be the perfect date night spot before or after a theater show.

I had high expectations but was sadly disappointed. The food was all just a bit lacklustre and for the price we expected a lot better. I got three tiny pieces of polenta “gnocchi” with far too much cavolo Nero and pumpkin and basically zero Gorgonzola cheese sauce. The mackerel was badly presented and full of bones and the fat on the pork wasn’t rendered and the rest of the fish was cold. Friendly service is all I can really say was good.
