Born out of a love for the neighborhood, Mexican food and agave spirits, Añejo was launched in Hell’s Kitchen in early 2012.     Small quaint Mexican restaurant. Nicely decorated. A little on the noisy side for a small venue. The food was outstanding. Guacamole & chips went to the next level. The Pollo Adobado was excellent, very authentic Mexican cuisine. Great tequila selection.

    Our overall experience was excellent from making the reservations to the actual dining experience. The gentleman that calls to confirm was AMAZING! We had two 50th bday to celebrate and they went above and beyond to accommodate and make it a super special evening. The food was amazing. The cauliflower tacos were the best, guacamole was phenomenal. I have a corn allergy and they were really great with it. They have an option to have veggies with your guacamole instead. It was all yummy!! 😋

    We had a reservation for six and the hostess seated us at three doubles pushed together. It was cramped in the back near the kitchen. All the while there was a high top for six that was empty! When I asked if we could have that, she said no because there was another reservation. The high top table was empty almost the whole time that we were there. She could have let us have it and seated the other group at the cramped table in the back. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and I’m pretty sure that we won’t go back.

    As always great experience. Our server, Liz, was really amicable and gave us great recommendations. Margaritas Añejo were really good and the Tequila Custard was amazing. Will definitely keep visiting this place when in Manhattan.

    Great service and recommendations from pur server, Tomas. Tequilas Flights were really good and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend it and return soon.

    Excellent brunch. Enjoyed the carne asada with eggs. Sangria was outstanding. And the brussel sprouts were some of the nest I've ever had.
