    Drinks were horrible — one was super sweet and the other was just ginger beer with a cucumber (was supposed to have mezcal but couldn’t taste even a hint of it — I think genuinely forgot to add all the ingredients). Food also lacked flavor and they ran out of chicken. Service was good. We didn’t read reviews before making the reservation assuming it to be at par with other Ritz Carlton restaurants we’ve eaten at but when we checked the reviews while at the table, we saw our experience was not unique. Not worth the value. Tried drinks at the O Bar outside the restaurant and drinks were terrible as well. Will be eating and getting drinks off property for rest of our stay.

    Ambiance was special. Service was impeccable. Food was good - not great. Steak sauce was cold. Sides are needed but large. Took a long time for the entree. Meal seemed expensive for the relative quality.

    Service was terrible, the food mediocre. It took over two hours for two courses. The waiter then seemed surprised when we said we’d forgo dessert and asked for the check. That took another 15 minutes. I get businesses have an off night now and then, but this was our fourth or fifth time there and it seems like it’s declined in multiple aspects.

    That was the worst service experience, let me tell you this much to get your water refreshed you had to wave your glass up in the air for a few minutes and hope a server would notice.

    Steak poorly cooked. Items prepared differently than described on the menu. Took 70-80 minutes from being seated to receiving our meals. Not worth the price.

    Steaks were very good, as expected for $100 each, sea bass was good, but none exceptional. Food service time was unusually slow, an hour for appetizers to be brought to the table, and 75 minutes for entrees. The restaurant crowd was at 50% capacity. Ambiance and space are redeeming and beautiful aspects of Ritz Bacara, wall of windows would be more impressive in summer months when view of Pacific Ocean in daylight is accessible. Mandatory $20 valet dinner parking in this very remote and isolated location was a little surprising.

    When first seated, the noise level was so high I couldn't hear the waiter. Baby crying next to us, but better after we moved to a different table. Cold air blowing down my neck was also irritating, but it quieted down after a while. Although we did find it quite expensive, the food was truly delicious and the service quite good except for the annoying practice of them clearing one person's plate while the other is still eating.

    Servers were overwhelmingly hospitable and we appreciated their kindness throughout the night. Food arrived late, and didn’t suit some of our expectations. The basque cheesecake was absolutely fantastic. Decent experience
