   I’m a local and a huge advocate for the restaurant industry! We managed to make a reservation pretty easily for a table of four on a Friday night. There were two choices for seating, high top and table seating. The first thing that got our attention was the neon strip lights on the exterior, it looked like the colors matched the hotel lights but the effect was of a vape shop, inside, the decor looked Homegoodsesque, the music was loud enough to not stay in the background. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, I asked for a few tweaks on my dish, the chef accommodated well, the rest of my party enjoyed their food. The wine list is limited, hoping this expands as the place grows. Overall. We felt like this place was having an identity crisis, it had a very sports bar feeling (TV’s playing sports) mixed in with fine dining menu and prices, there is so much opportunity to make it special, it needs to decide what it wants to be. We didn’t love the fees for paying with a credit card, who walks around with cash these days?

   Great food, very good service but seemed like server had too many tables. Banging in kitchen was annoying. Going back to try more menu items.

   Dined here with a large party of 9 on busy NYE and we had a fabulous time-the Margherita pizza was DELICIOUS. The staff were warm and friendly. Their NYE party was FABULOUS-perfect if you’re looking for a trendy spot to dine, drink & dance on NYE w/out the commotion, shenanigans or hassles of a crowded nightclub. The DJ was a VIBE-playing House Music among many other dance-inducing tracks. When it’s not NYE and you’re looking for a place to eat within walking distance to bars/rooftops on Glenwood S, this place checks that box. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to trying other dishes on the menu.

   Our first time visiting La Piazza Prime. My partner and I don't drink, but there was an extensive wine list and selection of cocktails. The bar area is very nice. We had a reservation for 7pm on New Year's Eve and had to change it at the last minute to add another guest. La Piazza honored this request. We had fried calamari and mozzarella for appetizers, and house salads. All were excellent. The calamari was fresh, with a perfect amount of light batter. Bread was served with olive oil and balsamic, which was excellent. We had pasta dishes for our main courses, which again were excellent. Parking was very easy along the street close to restaurant, and easy walking to downtown Raleigh nightspots. All in all, a very nice experience!

   We had a great experience! We chose this location because of the variety in menu and we were very pleased. Everyone enjoyed their meals, staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed their bread before the meal very much. Appreciate the hard working staff making our Christmas memorable!
