                                                                                  Went to ANZU before the theatre. They were very cooperative on making sure we and others were served well. The sashimi appetizer was wonderful. The Black Cod was very tasty, the Halibut was a bit dry. It is a very nice, convenient environment.

                                                                                  First time back since before Covid. We had our pre-election discussion brunch here. Every staff member especially Stacy was extremely warm and welcoming. This will again be our go to Sunday brunch venue! Worth mentioning items that you just have to ask for (included): single serving natto, eggs any style cooked to order, gelato and sorbet, bottomless Coke Zero! We will be back!

We always enjoy eating here and love the Japanese focus with some fun twists like the Hot Rock where you get to cook your own beef appetizer with a few sauces. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and clean and we really loved how we were treated. Looking forward to a return visit!

                                                                                  Being seated at the corner table for (4) by the wall gave a wonderful view of the restaurant. We arrived at 6 and there were lots of empty tables still. The waitress was pretty attentive with the drink order and taking our meal order. After that it went downhill. The appetizer arrived fine, but the sushi entree took a long time. I was facing the sushi bar and saw two prepared plates sitting there for at least 15 minutes which were finally delivered. The waitress next appearance was with the final billl!!!

I was so happy to take a friend to see a concert at Feinstein's at the Nikko. Oh my the food was fabulous, the drinks were delightful and I wish I had more room and more time. I'd like to go back into the city just to eat there!

                                                                                  I recently dined at ANZU in San Francisco, and it was an incredible experience overall. The food was perfect—every dish was full of vibrant flavors and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, attentive, and professional, and the elegant ambience added to the upscale feel of the evening. However, I was a bit disappointed that they missed a personal touch. I selected the birthday option when making the reservation, and my daughter even wore a birthday tiara, but no birthday dessert was brought out for her. I had specifically chosen ANZU because their birthday presentations looked so special in photos, so it was a bit of a letdown. That aside, it’s still a fantastic spot for an elegant dining experience.
