   We got reservations here ONLY because of the advertised mermaid swimming event. We were not informed when we arrived that the mermaids would not be performing. The food here is notoriously subpar so we would have chosen to eat elsewhere had we known the mermaids would not be performing. Finally they did have a mermaid for a meet and greet only, but this was certainly not the event we had hoped for. The food was expensive for the poor quality - not very well seasoned. Honestly nothing was very good at all. There was no compensation at all for not having the mermaid event. Very disappointing evening for our last night in Nashville - I wish we could have the night back to do something else instead.

   There was no mermaid show as advertised on the website which is the whole reason we went in the first place. Food took 45 minutes to arrive and when it did, my chicken was raw. They gave us $25 credit to make up for the mermaid show and comped my chicken meal. But overall, this place was terrible.

   The place is a great atmosphere and it's nice the tables are far enough away from ea h other you don't feel crowded. It did take a VERY long time to get refills on drinks. That was a bit frustrating. And I got the chicken Alfredo that had hardly any chicken on it. There were two pieces about 2" x 2" and then maybe 4 more smaller pieces. For 22$ you'd expect a lot more chicken.

   30 bucks for a 4oz sirloin.....that had what I assumed to be galic butter on it. No seasonings just pressed grill marks. Maybe they need to put actually weights for their turf on the menu.

   Our waitress, Erin, was great!! Food was delicious and loved the atmosphere. We even had a special happy birthday serenade by he co-worker who I can’t remember his name but had a mustache.

    The service was horrible it took 15 minutes after we had been seated for our server to come get our drink order. Took our food order right away . Took additional 10 minutes to bring the drinks back to the table . Food took 40 minutes for the food to come . Our drink were left empty for extended period of time . Dishes were not cleared in a timely manner. Our server spent more time at the bar wiping the counter than attending to our table . I feel he knew the tip was already added to the bill so no need to work at providing service . Server kept asking about more tables but was very inattentive to the tables he did have . Restaurant was highly recommended I was very disappointed. Spoke to manager when ready to leave she could have cared less . Would definitely not recommend.
