   The food was excellent as always. Service was a little slow at times but there were only two waiters serving. We appreciate that it is extremely cold at the moment but when you walk into a restaurant and see people sitting with their coats on it doesn’t bode well. We too by the end of the meal had put our coats back on. The first part of the car park outside the restaurant was covered in sheet ice and lethal. Extremely hard to walk on and not safe!

   Booked a table for 2 on New year's eve for a birthday party, only to be told they were only serving burgers as they have a limited menu, we spent £40 on a return taxi, we were very disappointed as there was no mention of the limited menu on open table nor the restaurant website, wouldn't have bothered wasting our money otherwise.

   Booked a table for 4 people online, arrived at the venue only to find it was burger menu only, we were not notified of this fact prior to arriving, understand the reason behind the 'party' event due it being new years eve afternoon, however if we required burgers we would have gone to macdonalds. We have eaten at artisan previously and it was excellent, unfortunately this occasion fell short of expectations. Just a courtesy email or text would have been appropriate to let us know what the menu was for the day as this is very different to the normal menu, plus the fact that 2 of the party were vegetarian. Two of the staff members even commented that we should have been informed by email.

   This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Menu has the usual popular and favourite dishes which means there is something for everyone. The food was delicious. From a service point of view, everything was good until after main course- plates not cleared and after about half an hour or so, I had to get up and ask if we could look at the dessert menu. I would go back again though and give this restaurant another go.

   The food was ok but my sister’s carrots were cold and Brussels sprouts weren’t just al dente they were like bullets that shot off your plate when you tried to cut into them. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The setting was beautiful and the prices are average for Ribble Valley. As this was near to Christmas the restaurant was very busy and buzzing. Noise levels were quite high. I would definitely try Artisan again as my salmon was cooked beautifully and the Christmas pudding was excellent. Although hot custard and ice cream is an odd combination.

    Food great. Our waitress was lovely but think she had too many tables to deal with. Singer and music a bit too loud when you’re eating. Will definitely go back as food was lovely.
