   Ash and Elm didn’t have many menu items available. Also, vegetables weren’t prepped and ready for the 5:00 patrons, so no side vegetable orders allowed. Rice in the rice bowl was undercooked, this partially hard and crunchy. Waitress was pleasant. Restaurant was clean. Overall, disappointing.

   It was unfortunate several items weren’t available for our first time trying and a holiday. Surprised not ready and we were there at 4:30 PM reservation.

   We made our first trip to Ash and Elm to celebrate Valentine's Day with my 93yr old mother. The atmosphere was calm and the noise level low, which worked out for easy conversation. The place is really upbeat and cute. It's a very relaxed place- not a place to come grab a quick bite. More of an environment where you want to sit and relax with friends. The service staff are all so friendly and helpful. Our server and the chef took my allergy very seriously and were super helpful in making sure I ordered items that were safe for me. We had generous samples of 6 ciders. My two favs were the Chili Mango and the Earl Gray Orange. Our food was delicious. Highly recommend the Brussels to share. It's a giant portion and they are so good. The smash burger was also fantastic. Nostalgic flavors and textures that I can't adequately describe. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem. The patio looks really nice for the summer too!

   Food and the cider variety was good. Getting our food was slow. Total dinner time was two hours and had to get our desert to go so we wouldn't be late to a movie.

   This was our first visit to this location & we were sorely disappointed by the service. They didn't seem super busy when we arrived, but it still took a good 10-15 minutes for our server to come back & get our order in (asked us for drink & food order at once). Added protein was left off of my friend's dish, which then had to be remedied by a different server. When we were ready to pay, one of our party had to go walk up to the bar area to flag down someone to find our server again to get our checks. I'm not sure I'll be back to this location unfortunately.

   It was a lot of fun, but service was pretty slow. We waited forever for salad- then by the time the salad came out good was here. I know it was packed but service was slow. We will be back!! Hoping by then kinks will be worked out..

    We ordered from the Devour Indy menu. The tomato bisque soup was wonderful and the salmon & pasta entree was excellent. The blackberry cheesecake was a disappointment. It was more of a squishy pudding than a slice of cheesecake. The servers were excellent, but clearly stretched to the point of breaking. When we were arrived at 5:30, we were warned our table had another seating at 7:15. It was close to 7pm before the server brought our dessert (we ordered everything at once when we were seated). I think she was also waiting on customers at the bar?
