   Service was fantastic. Menu selection is small which I like for a seafood place in the Midwest. The oysters rotate and on this evening it was all east coast. The fish en croute might be a hidden gem here in Cincinnati, it is basically beef Wellington but with black Cod and a creamy sauce inside of the puff pastry instead of beef. Highly recommend. All and all a solid place to get good fresh oysters in Cincinnati. Enjoy! 🍻

   Food was very good. Oysters Rockefeller were very good. No gulf coast oysters but several other choices. A little too pricey in my opinion, but I’m spoiled from visit to NOLA. Bouillabaisse was well done. Could have used more sauce. We were there very early so no crowd or noise.

   We were celebrating family birthdays and had a wonderful experience. Grace was our server and she went out of her way to help us enjoy our time. We will be back and highly recommend!

   Overall, a great experience and loved it! A bit loud, but overall looking forward to going back in the spring and checking out the patio.

   The fresh oysters and all dishes were DELICIOUS! The food was the freshest fish and vegetables perfectly prepared. Service is smart and prompt. Love this place!

   Excellent evening out. Moments of amazing food: oysters, p.e.i. mussels, potato mille-feuille and the Concord grape tart. Skip the bass à la nage.

   We had an amazing first experience. I felt that the ambiance was extremely comfortable which was perfectly matched by the amazing staff. Alex was exceptional and we hope to have the opportunity to dine with Alex again, since we will be back! The oysters and mussels were the stand out dishes as well as the lovely Pipin’ hot tea. We hope to see Atwood remain a part of Cincy for a long time! Super bonus points for the CLEAN and cozy bathroom. Much appreciated!

    The service and food at Atwood Oyster is excellent. We ordered a sampling of the oysters, which come with the usual condiments, and the server explained which were which. For our main courses, two of us had the red grouper, two the ruby trout. Those who had the trout found it excellent; the grouper, a fish difficult get just right, was tender and flavorful (I had requested no extra salt), though the snow peas along side could have used another minute in a steamer/in the pan. The broth on which the grouper lay picked up the flavors of the grouper and added moisture to it. My only complaint is the noise. Even though it was a Sunday and not all tables were in use, there were quite a few diners. With wood floors and high ceilings (typical of the old OTR buildings) sound bounces all over. Conversation was manageable but the noise level weighs over you. We do plan on returning most likely at a time with fewer diners. Cincinnati has few truly fine restaurants open on Sunday, and it was a pleasure to discover this one.
