   We had an exceptional dining experience at ATX Cocina! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a modern yet comfortable atmosphere. The service was top-notch—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. The food food was absolutely incredible! Overall, ATX Cocina delivers an unforgettable dining experience.    Our waiter, Alex, was the nicest waiter I think we ever had. He was so kind and helpful. Super good guy. Food was excellent, service great and prompt, and overall special night for my daughter’s birthday celebration. Really top notch managed restaurant

   The outdoor is not very cozy and for the ambiance it’s over priced. The food and service were good but they could do better for the outdoor area/seating. Won’t come back if we sit outdoor.

   Over the years I have been many, manny times, but the place is slipping--badly. We were seated outside for a 5 pm reservation on this March afternoon, at my request, as they USUALLY have fans when it's 90 degrees outside, but they had not gotten around to setting them up yet. After an hour outside sweating and spending over $150 on 2 drinks each and 2 appetizers, we wanted to move inside to finish our last drink. So they said go to the back bar, which we did after closing my tab with the waiter outside. And since we were finishing our drinks from outside, I guess too slowly, we were told others needed the seats even though there were 4 empty seats AT THAT BAR at that momement and 4 more next to the bar and countless seats around us empty as it was still early and the whole restaurant was maybe 1/2 full. Frankly, I find it tiring, really annoying, that too many of Austin's upscale restaurants are devolving into just charging high prices for adequate--at best--food and drink, with too often (but certainly not always), service that drifts so far from friendly and accommodating, to being put upon and surly. So, I have stopped with the glossy reviews overlooking the growing deficiences in Austin's upscale restaurants and speaking out against the mediocrity or worse.

   This is hands-down, one of the best restaurants in Austin for the past several years. The food is outstanding, the service is spot on, and the cocktails are out of this world.

   Unfortunately, had a very poor experience. The waiter was trying to push us out early. Kept asking to take our food when there was still food on the table and we were trying to enjoy our meal. Cocktails took a while. It was very expensive for a mediocre meal. Also did not offer dessert. Was really trying to get and push us out of there.
