   Have breakfast each morning while at a conference as well as dinner one night. Food was great, but they were terribly understaffed. They had one person trying to cover the entire place at breakfast. At dinner the bartender was trying to cover the entire bar as well as a large section of the restaurant. I did see/hear one customer talking to the manager at breakfast regarding the lack of staff. The manager was giving him some baloney excuse about not expecting the volume of customers. There was a conference of about 4,000 people at the Austin Convention Center and the Hilton was the host hotel for the conference organizers. Also, the restaurant was only half full at best at the time and there wasn't any additional help the subsequent days. So, the whole "not expecting the volume" reason was total bull. I felt bad for the staff as it's clear the managers didn't have any interest in supporting what they need to do a good job.

   Mark and Trevor provided great service. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Elvia and Erika keep the buffet looking fresh and all items are refreshed when needed. Chef Roy prepares a fantastic omelette. I appreciate the warm greeting from Sean and Dana when approaching the host/hostess stand. We always enjoy our dining experience at the Taco Project.

   Last minute decision for breakfast and not disappointed. Friendly service and good food. Group of 6 and had breakfast tacos and all weee good!

   Who would have thought that a venue called Austin Taco Project would be a perfect spot for a delicious breakfast. Avocado Toast was layers of luscious.

   I was there for a Saturday happy hour. The margaritas Spencer made were awesome. I chose the chicken nachos & two tacos, the confit pork & carne asada. The carne asada was slightly overcooked, but both were loaded! The portions were definitely Texas style, lol. I'd definitely return!

   The food was delicious. My wife, daughter and I weee very happy with the food, the service and the atmosphere. We will definitely go back again.

   The food and drinks were good but they were very short staffed so we had to sit in very uncomfortable seats at the bar and service was slow. Weird cause was there for a conference. Otherwise, fine….

    I held a small (6 person) business meeting in the early morning. The restaurant did a very nice job of accomodating my request for a quiet table however, this seemed to affect the service. After the initial coffee service and taking of our order, the waiter never returned to refill coffee and completely forgot the request by one guest for a small fruit cup. The breakfast buffet selected by most of the team, was robust and the food was good.
