This restaurant is no longer in business. Very embarrassing for a first date when you get there and the restaurant has been closed.

I go to Aviary regularly. This particular occasion the server was a bit condescending when it came to recommendations for wine. My friend is a sommelier and wanted to to taste a wine and he proceeded to give her a description of the wine and very dismissive when we again asked to taste. This is a wine shop and this was a wine by the glass it shouldn’t have been a problem. Eventually he did acquiesce but all night he had an edge. I don’t know if he’d behave this way if it was two men.

We’ve been here a few times. Menu has always been on the smallish side but today was very limited. Apps were great. Entrees were mediocre. Sommelier and service are on point in a relaxed, comfortable space. Happy hour 4-6 is worth leaving work early.

Food was amazing Server provided excellent recommendations and communicated dietary needs to chef accurately. Also made great wine suggestion. Started to get busy and noisy about 8-8:30
