Aviles Restaurant is located inside the Hilton Bayfront in downtown Saint Augustine and is open for breakfast and dinner daily with an attached Coffee Shop that serves Starbucks branded Coffee items and a Banquet facility that accommodates up to 90 people with a Boardroom for meetings up to 10 people. The menu is composed of unique twists on traditional dishes found in Spain, France, the Mediterranean and Caribbean regions. Start off the day with a Continental Breakfast or mix and match from items such as French toast, bacon, muffins, oatmeal, waffles and fresh fruit. Aviles offers many choices for dinner, including fresh Fish and Seafood, fresh Cut PRIME Steaks, New Zealand Lamb Racks and Surf N Turf. . Desserts include a flourless Chocolate Torte, .Creme Brulee, Panna Cotta and Chocolate Pots De Creme. Restaurant was difficult to find as it is inside the Hilton. I entered where the sign hung and found myself at the check-in desk. Stopped to ask someone (who turned out to be a restaurant worker) asked him if he know where it was and showed him the name. Long story short, the second person he took me too looked at where I wanted to go and told him it was his restaurant!! The only one in the restaurant and it took a long time for the pricey meal to arrive, it was overcooked. Ambiance was ok. Not going back.
