   We could not have had a better experience last night at Azteca Battersea Rise from the moment we arrived we were swept into the restaurant by the most charming man in a white shirt!! You know who you are! The food exceeded all our expeditions - every dish went that little bit further with spices and fresh herbs. The service by Honor was faultless and the cocktails were the best we have had anywhere! What a great addition to Battersea Rise. They also have a bar and fantastic private room for hire. We will be BACK!!!!!

   Nice local restaurant but definitely a few issues. The service was not great, overall quite slow but then food all came together and was rushed. The prices are too high for neighbourhood place- a margarita was 13.90! The food was good but they have a sushi/sashimi & ceviche section which has no sushi or sashimi. The food was good with the exception of the tacos which were soggy and bland/under seasoned. It has a nice atmosphere and the cocktails were lovely (despite the price) but think consistency is an issue and still working out some kinks.

   Very loud music. Couldn’t hear each other speak. Margaritas very mediocre. Food same. Sad as was expecting much more from this place.

   Went on a Thursday evening and it was a really great atmosphere. We were told there was no sushi left when we arrived at 8.15 and were told what was good on the menu, when we ordered shortly afterwards the main dishes had all sold out along with other things which was a real disappointment, especially as it wasn't late and it was a Thursday night. Also didn't love the tacky happy birthday song and sparklers towards the end of the evening which didn't match the vibe of the place at all. Some staff were excellent and really attentive and knowledgeable on the menu and cocktials and everything we ordered was delicious with the exception of the beef tacos which didn't taste of anything. Overall will definitely go back and give it another go and hope more options are available.

   We shan't be returning! This was our 3rd visit in 6 weeks. But once again in an empty restaurant,, we were stuffed in a row of very noisy small tables against the wall. Despite requesting a table with more space in a different part of the restaurant. The restaurant was still only less than half full by the time we left. Why are some restaurants these days do so oblivious of their customers happiness. Spending over £100 for two each time in a short period. You might think we are the type of client to look after . But sadly it seems not. Which is a shame

   The service ruined it for me, took an hour for our food to arrive. The waiter was dismissive and passive aggressive. Items were charged for that were not served. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Won’t be returning

   Margeritas were delicious. Food and service were both pretty good. It was a strange Mexican Japanese fusion but pretty tasty. However given portion sizes I think the prices were presumptuous. I definitely feel like I overpaid. Probably wouldn't go back because of that. But the restaurant itself is beautiful.

   Second time of visiting. The first time with my son who's vegetarian, and his words were.. the best vegetarian restaurant he had been too ! Which of course it isn't, as they also do really nice Classic Cevice and Barbecued Prawns amongst other things. The flavours are typically South American, very fresh but with hints of unexpected spices. I guess that's the Japanese vibe. The staff today were great, and the restaurant itself has plenty of space and tables, so you are not listening to other conversations. Definitely a thumbs up, and we will be back.

   Haven’t been to Azteca since it opened. Pleased to see they’ve ironed out some teething issues. Service was great and the meal was served a lot more prompt than last time. I can now hear conversation, the music isn’t blaring but is still vibrant and atmospheric. Tip: ask to sit at the front of the restaurant. A real improvement. Really enjoyed it, will be back.

    Seeing as we were one of only two tables, it was surprising to have zero table service. Every time we needed something, we had to get up and try to find our server. Shame to have such awful service as the food is excellent.
