   I have visited this restaurant maybe four times but last night was a very average experience for the price paid. The service was very bad, the waitress not good at all!!!

   Sadly this restaurant did not live up to expectations. The tables are very close together. The waiter was not very informative on the drink or food menu and didn’t even introduce himself. We asked two people where the oysters were from and they had no idea and didn’t offer to find out. They were luke warm and had tons of shell in them. We asked for bread three times before they finally brought it with dinner. The entrees were sub par. The truffle pasta was watery and bland. The rigatoni and sausage was just okay and our two friends that got the clam pasta commented how small the clams were. We were only offered dessert when the waiter opened the menu and simply said “dessert”? We were extremely disappointed with the experience and will not be back.

   Beautiful area and restaurant. Tables are close to each other but the perimeter tables are larger than standard so you don't feel you're right on top of the table of guests next to you. Service was very good, a few cutlery misses, but no big deal. Octopus carpaccio was amazing, and fresh oysters from Massachusetts light and fresh. Mignonette was my favourite accompaniment to the oysters, perfectly citrusy/vinegary. Spaghetti ala vongole perfectly seasoned and pasta done al dente. Will go again when back in Houston!

   Excellent food, never disappoints. Overall management has gotten better too which makes the experience complete. Only tip would be to turn up the heat.

   Outstanding food (burrata appetizer, Branzino, sautéed calamari and squid pasta, truffle pasta, tiramisu) Server Victor was warm, personable and attentive. Ambiance and decor very enjoyable for a special occasion.

   We tried Azzurro for our anniversary, and our evening could not have been better. Starting with creative and delicious cocktails, appetizers including a lovely lobster bisque, we enjoyed every bite and had the kind of dinner we enjoy most - never rushed but very attentive and personal service by Stephanie, as well as being welcomed by others mentioning our anniversary. The restaurant has a beautiful ambience, nice music that sets the tone but doesn’t overpower like too many nice places these days, with well prepared entrees (a seafood risotto and a filet with small lobster tail). We enjoyed a nice glass of wine with our meal and finished with perfect cappuccinos and shared some gelati for a light dessert. We would highly recommend Azzurro for a romantic or special evening, but we will be back to enjoy the location on the lake and other offerings that sounded equally delicious. A new favorite for us.

    The food and service was fine as usual however the restaurant was so cold we could not enjoy our meal. When we go again if the restaurant is that cold we will leave before being seated.
