B12 Bar & Kitchen is part of the local Bucklers Group in Hailsham owned by Melvyn and stands out from the crowd as a Brightonian style venue. Along with our fantastic range of wines, craft cocktails & gins, B12 Bar & Kitchen offers an immersive lunch and evening dining experience. The a la carte menu is changed seasonally by exec chef Nathan and features a range of smaller and larger dishes to match any appetite. The food is a mixture of classic British and European - think venison with celeriac puree, pork belly with potato terrine or scallops with black pudding. The High Street venue is much grander than expected in terms of size with a classy yet cosy décor over looking the picturesque local Church, making it a perfect choice for any occasion in Hailsham or even Sussex. We went for drinks only, atmosphere was nice and staff are extremely friendly and polite. Great variety of cocktails, spirits and wines.

Fabulous food & drink Great atmosphere & staff excellent Only thing that was not great were the men’s toilet not very clean! Overall it’s our favourite place to go too & the cocktails are amazing.

I made this booking for my daughter’s birthday. When we arrived it was very busy because of a wake from a funeral. There were people going in and out, up and down the stairs, laughing and shrieking, and people kept standing by our table chatting. The majority of staff were up stairs looking after the wake guests. It was quite honestly chaotic and there was no respect for people dining. I have already written to you B12 complaining but have had no response from you. The food was ok but overall it was all very disappointing. I shan’t be rushing back.

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere but unfortunately there was a very noisy party upstairs which spoilt it a bit on this occasion.

Had a lovely evening. Thank you. Allergies were sorted out without problem. Very grateful. The only reason I have given full stars was the price of the prosecco.
