Bacchus - A Bartolotta Restaurant is set in a sleek, stylish space in the Cudahy Tower in downtown Milwaukee. Its menu emphasizes seasonal ingredients and its wine list is among the most extensive in the city. Bacchus offers several exclusive spaces for private events, including a glass-enclosed conservatory. Valet is available Monday through Saturday from 5 - 9 PM.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.

My husband and I have shared our anniversary at Bacchus for many years. This year, the food was outstanding as always, but the service really lacked. The service staff was stressed and it showed. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what, but it is a significant change from the past. This used to be a five star dining experience from the food to the service to the ambience and beyond. Now I think the only thing that is top-of-the-line is the food. Everything else honestly is lacking for this restaurant compared to the past, which is so sad. We still had a great time and overall the service did OK, it’s just a noticeable difference from the past. They don’t treat you in the way that they used to. You’re a number, not a special guest.

Not as fancy as I expected and we did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and I only liked 2 dishes of 6. I would go back to try something else possibly but it was extremely pricey for the quality in my opinion. Not somewhere I'd really recommend.

The food, service and ambiance was extraordinary. I had not been back for some time but I will definitely keep it on my list for special occasions. The only suggestion would be to have a broader range of prices for wines by the glass. $18+ per glass can add up quickly.

Disappointed with our visit based on other reviews noting delicious food and good service. Service was poor (we didn’t receive dinner menus for 20 minutes, food orders weren’t placed until 30 minutes after seating as wait staff didn’t come by) and inconsistent either clearing plates promptly or starting to bring our next courses without having cleared our previous course. Overall felt like they were short staffed even with the dinning room only 1/3 of the way full. We did the 6 course tasting menu and had long waits in between dishes, sometimes upwards of 20 minutes. Some food arrived lukewarm, pasta was very overcooked, but dishes overall tasted okay. Not the service or food quality expected for a $300 dinner.

The Mother’s Day brunch was fabulous. The food was spot on and our server was vary attentive but it was subtle, The cadence of service was excellent.
