Baia is a quaint place in North Beach. The food is great though a bit pricey but great for a special occasion. Eve our waitress was great. Made suggestions and brought us wine samples to try something different than what we ordered to experience something new. The food was great and plentiful. They accommodated my GF allergy which was wonderful. We were not rushed after our meal and were treated very well. We will be back again. Thanks

With an 8:30 reservation on a special nite(Valentines Day), I expected that special offerings(Lobster Ravioli) would still be available!

2 people, valentines dinner 2nd time we went. Same overall impression as last time, but terrible service this time. Overall impression: food is really delicious with good quality ingredients. BUT! The portions are tiny and the price too high for what you get. I have many experience dining in upscale restaurants, but Baia, in my humble opinion, is a “wannabe”. What was absolutely unacceptable: When ordering our food, we at first didn’t want to order our main course right away, because we have experienced many times that it comes too fast. The waiter was surprised, so we explained him we didn’t want to be rushed through and we wanted to enjoy our evening. He guaranteed that he would pace the courses, so we did order main course and starters at once. We ordered a bottle of wine, and a bottle of sparkling water as well. The starter came very fast, which was not necessarily an issue, although I would have preferred to finish my starting cocktail first. The main course came immediately after the starter. We hadn’t even had time to finish our first glass of wine yet! We were rushed through our meal in less than an hour! I’m sorry, but that is not fine dining and enjoying the evening to me! Seen the tiny portions, I asked for bread, but they said they didn’t have any. 🤨 We spent 240$ for 2 people, tip excluded and were rushed through dinner in an hour, even though we explicitly told them we wanted to take our time. Furthermore, we never received our bottle of San Pelegrino, but is was added to the check! We will not be back! I’d much rather spend my money somewhere else if I want a nice evening with my husband!

Eve was amazing!! Definitely the best part of our reservation. The surf and turf was SOO good, as was the beef cheek ravioli - only wish the ravioli was a bigger portion. Hubby could’ve eaten 2-3 lol. Though I was sad you ran out of the crème brûlée, the strawberry pistachio cake was VERY good too. I love Baia and will be back as a regular and for future specialty nights

Highly recommend the $155 steak for two on Valentines. Beef Tartare was amazing as well.

Our Valentine's Day dinner can be summarized in one word: superb! We're grateful to have Baia's level of service and culinary experience in our community - minutes away vs. hour+ to anyplace even half as good (I'll admit I'd still visit here anyway if it weren't)!! The flavors of our dishes were so poignant we've talked about them days later - e.g. getting Tilefish here (!) from off the NJ coast...and expertly crafted lobster ravioli...my wife and I were dazzled by the ingredients, their preparation and final presentation = kudos to the kitchen, and sincerest gratitude to the owners, for giving us such a Chesapeake Bay treasure - we can't wait to go back!!

We came for the first time, and it was Valintine's Day. The only complaint that I have is the food potions. My wife and I shared a nice porter house steak, and it was very good. But the side potato portion was not enough for two people which was very disappointing and there was no bread available for the meals which was also very disheartening. Again, I felt that we paid good money for the meal and the quality and flavor of the food and service were fantastic but the small amount of whipped potatoes and zero bread left us wanting. First time customer, Rick .

This is our favorite place to eat in the area. We tend to eat outdoors, but cold weather and snow moved us indoors. We sat in the bar area and next to the live entertainment. Even with music, the volume was such that we could carry on a conversation and never felt pressed. Serve was excellent as always (shout out again to Bobby). Great food *especially the Cheesecake Amalfi). We love the place and go there as often as possible.

We're semi-regulars. This time we brought a friend with us. He's a bit of a world traveler and has been to Italy a number of times. He's also VERY aware of Italian food. He was jaw-dropped at how good the food was. The magicians in the kitchen have done it again! Baia Coastal knocks it over the fence.

Wine was amazing, as well as the meats and cheeses. Everything paired well together, and staff was very knowledgeable- so fun!
