Sitting proudly in the heart of Elsternwick is this unique venue with an Indochine inspired menu of delicious food and drinks.

The exotic greenery and styling seen throughout Bang Bang’s gorgeous indoor spaces flows out to a relaxed outdoor courtyard sitting adjacent to the local park.

Despite the venue’s bustling city vibe, Bang Bang is a laid-back social hotspot for locals in the South East.

Please note any patrons that book in for “outdoor” or “counter” seating will be sat outdoors & will be exposed to the elements. All outdoor tables use Me&u, an order at the table QR code ordering system. All bookings made on either “standard” or “high top” seating are completely undercover or inside the venue.

Great food and service for a family gathering and birthday celebration that included 9 adults and 4 toddlers. Great job Bang Bang!

Lovely setting, service was great and the food was outstanding. Every dish was so flavoursome and beautifully presented. Washed down with a very yummy Spritz. Highly recommend.

The food was extremely tasty (always the point of the exercise), the drinks list featured something for everyone and the service was appropriately attentive.

Rate the food - very yummy...I dont rate Sunday night 10% bill surcharge especially given they were a little on in servcie staff!!!

We had a Valentine's Day banquet set menu. The waiter service was very friendly and the dishes (once they arrived!) were tasty but for a set menu, we couldn't believe how long it was taking for food to arrive. We sat down at our table at 7.40 and by 9pm we'd only had the entree meals. We actually requested them not to bring out one dish so that we could be finished by 10pm. We get that it was busy but they must have known that was going to be the case on Valentine's day so we just think there was some disorganisation in the kitchen which did impact our overall experience.

Booked for Valentine’s Day, have never been there before and had a set menu. Wife and l loved everything about this place, service, food, atmosphere all on point. Will delete be going back again!!

Reserved the Valentines Day banquet. When we arrived around 7:20, we asked whether the banquet would conclude by 8:45 as we had a movie booked. They assured us that the max seating time is an hour and a half so we’d definitely be out by then. We weren’t asked about drinks for about 20 minutes and our first course took over 45 minutes to arrive. After an hour and a half of waiting, we asked to move inside as it was getting cold. It got to 8:45 before our second course arrived. At that point we tried the ‘crispy rice salad’ which reminded us frozen cardboard and decided to leave. On a plus side, the staff were nice about everything. After leaving, we got Thai takeaway from across the road — highly recommend Fat Boy Thai across the road.

The place has a wonderful relaxed feel. The food was delicious, we opted for a set menu and had a number of dishes we wouldn’t have ordered of the menu, yet all of them were so flavourful. The staff were attentive and friendly too. We’ll be back for sure

Valentines Day service, kitchen was being overwhelmed with orders, waited over 40 minutes for dessert and decided to leave. thereby making the table available for the next booking.

very disappointed with the menu for curry night no meat dish and very little food also the service was not good arrived at the venue and waited at least 10 min nobody approached us looked around then went to the bar where there was somebody there spoke to them she came around could not find her lap top see are booking then found but still standing and waiting when got to the table we has to ask for water and could order a cocktail took are oder and we just waited and waited eventually got are drinks when we got her attention not very happy would not recommend the place

HI Mollymae, Sorry to hear about your bad experience with us! On the curry menu we had chicken in galangal broth as our option for meat. Every week we have 3 different curries, one vegetarian, one meat and on fish. Hopefully you will give us another try so we can show you what we can do. cheers, Team Bang Bang
