   Unfortunately the service was a major let down, food was okay although it did take over an hour from ordering for it to arrive and when it did it wasn’t that warm. We ordered another round of drinks while waiting for the food, waited half an hour and had to remind the waitress about the drinks…. Food came ordered more drinks and once again the waitress completely forgot about them. When we mentioned it she didn’t even apologise just gave us a dirty look went and got them and threw them down on the table. Not the sort of service you’d expect from a place like this. Overall nice place but won’t be back, maybe we just got a crap waitress on a very busy night.

   Always use the Bank when we attend midweek events in Birmingham. We took a few friends with us who were suitably impressed with the service. Two of the meals were a little overdone, but not enough to send back. The waiting staff were excellent and very attentive.

   Booked sunday lunch and at 4pm was not offered choice as no sunday lunch left felt really rushed

   The beef was terrible and the food was cold. The service was good and they dealt with it but still paid good money for a poor experience

   We were attending bank to celebrate our 8 year anniversary. Upon arrival we were informed that they had seen our note and given us a riverside table for our celebration. The host made us feel extremely comfortable and welcomed allowing our evening to start off great. The food was absolutely outstanding and flavourful and the waiter was very very attentive to our needs. I’ve been to bank a few times in the past with my partner yet this was by far our best experience! There was a loud table of about 20 something people seated near us but because of the exceptional service it didn’t bother us at all. My partner isn’t a big drinker but upon trying the pineapple boogie down cocktail he stated that he’d not only be ordering more but he’d be returning in the future with friends for the bar service. I’m not usually one to tip but this restaurant is the first place where I’ve went out my way to do such as they definitely deserved it!

   We paid over £70 each for a 2 course meal. The cocktails were stunning, the food bang on average. The “triple cooked” chips tasted frozen and were not crispy. Not what you would expect for the price point. The steaks were well cooked to order. The service was poor, no charm at all. We were never asked if we wanted any more drinks when clearly three of our glasses were empty. The floor was full to the brim with staff, often getting in each other’s way. It felt disorganised. For the price point you would expect 5* service and above average food at least. Very disappointed and would not return for food.
