   The big eye tuna was fabulous as always. It is consistently the best, very tender and flavorful and the soba noodles pair perfectly with the rare tuna.

   Dinner was fantastic , every part of the meal was great. Service was top notch as usual and Paige our waitress did an amazing job as usual.

   Overall a great place with fancy dining and a casual bar side. The service was outstanding but the food seemed over priced and out of budget for any regular family or couple.

   Food was really good. The cocktails, not so much. Had a signature old fashioned that was served in an odd glass with regular ice, orange and basic maraschino cherry muddled at the bottom. I was not a fan.

   2 of 4 entrees were excellent. Others were poor, fillet ordered med rare was med well, swordfish entree was dry and bland.

   Our server was so sweet. I ordered the surf and turf and my boyfriend ordered the swordfish. I believe mine took a little longer so his food was not hot enough (in his opinion). They replaced his food so fast and (who I assume) was the manager personally brought it out to him. That left a very good impression. We also ordered the shrimp boil and calamari as appetizers and those were pretty good.

   Banks’ is an absolute must when in Wilmington. The raw bar is among the freshest on the East Coast and the Seafood is amazing. They change their menus daily to assure the freshest seafood and ingredients. And don’t forget to eat dessert😜

    Varied menu, really creative dishes. I tried a fish i have never had before and it was prepared nicely. Our waiter (Pat?) was terrific. Pricey but totally worth it.
