Korean Tapas Restaurant. Inspired by traditional Korean cuisine...not traditional Korean cuisine.

The Korean word ‘Bansang’ refers to the style of table setting for the kings and nobles of the Joseon, a Korean dynastic kingdom that prospered for more than five centuries. At Bansang, we wish to serve all of our guests with the same care and sincerity as the chefs did for their royalty in those times past.

Korean fare is built around enjoying various distinctive types of dishes simultaneously rather than in separate courses, as this allows every person to experience continuously changing flavor combinations unique to Korean culture. Our guests can expect a modern, creative perspective on this traditional style of Korean cuisine.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Bansang! We were here as a party of 6 celebrating a friend’s birthday. With a group our size we were able to try a lot of items from the menu, since everything was meant to be shared as tapas. Highlights were the uni scallop toast, mulwhee noodles, jellyfish salad, sunchoke and truffle, rice cakes and chorizo, and the cod. Our favorite dessert item was the banana ice cream. The dishes were all full of flavor. Service was excellent and the ambiance was warm and relaxed. This is a great spot for both date nights and group dinners!

What an amazing experience. The food was excellent. Our favorite dishes were the Gochujang Black Cod and the Mulhwe Noodle. We ended up ordering a second order of the Mulhwe Noodles! We also enjoyed the Jellyfish Salad the Rice Cakes & Chorizo and the the Miso Marinated Pork. We can't wait to go back.

Incredible meal! Everything we had was so flavorful and special. Very easy plates to share for two people, and we came out full and satisfied. Our server was also great, service was quick and attentive. Our absolute favorite orders were the rice cakes and steak tartare, but everything off the menu was delicious. We will be sure to come again another time.

Came with a big group to celebrate 2 birthdays. Ambience, service and food was good (liked the kitchen lay out and modern feel with low lighting) and provided great value for Michelin style meal. We got to try a lot of different things and the service was attentive and detailed. Dishes were tasty and fresh and had a special, fusion taste to traditional Korean food. What stood out about the service was the two complimentary desserts we received for the birthdays with candles and it was a nice touch to conclude the night.

Our experience, food and service was fantastic. I would highly recommend the small plates of the mushroom dish and the spicy chicken in two buns as being absolutely delightful. Since this was my vegetarian wife's birthday plus unable to eat any gluten dishes, I would have tried some meat dishes. However, everything we had was superior.

No wonder Bansang has won Michelin Stars! The food here is incredible! We love Korean food and eat it all the time, so we were intrigued by Korean tapas. We loved the mulwhe noodles with sashimi fish over noodles but the fermented gochuchang sauce was so good I kept taking spoonfuls even after we ate the noodles! The uni scallop toast is a must, such a great seafood taste. We also had the Jjimdak Bao which is a spicy shredded chicken in Bao roll, so tasty!! The plates are small but flavors are big. We moved on to the main course which was Radish Kimchi fried rice and Gochuchang Black Cod, both of these dishes I highly recommend. Our waitress gave us great service and direction through the menu. The restaurant is in a very modern space with super high ceilings. I think this is a restaurant that shouldn't be missed! Great food, Great Service and Great Ambiance!

Amazing food. Only downside was they rushed us by bringing 2 dishes at a time when each dish was being shared. So 2 then 2 then 1. So we ate a large amount of food in under an hour. Would have liked to have taken our time. We will go back there though. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing. Staff was very welcoming and nice. It was enjoyable.
