   Asian fusion cuisine that had no Asian flavor whatsoever. Almost everything was really bland. Nice place and nice people though.

   Chilean sea bass was delicious and Jason, our waiter provided outstanding service! Would definitely go again.

   “Rock and Roll” sushi roll with tempura shrimp was disappointing. Shrimp were literally popcorn sized with the batter included. Taste was OK but I have had much better. The Shrimp Pad Thai tasted as if it had been soaked in vinegar. After having asked for tap water we were advised that it was not a good idea (presumably because it may not be safe) so we opted for a single bottle of “still” water (about 1 liter in size) which set us back $9 USD. Surprised that there are so many 5-star reviews.

   I reserved Bao while staying at the Westin to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Everything started out great until a large party arrived about 30 minutes after us. Once they came, we were completely ignored. We waited 45 minutes for two small appetizers. After waiting over and hour and twenty minutes, we still did not receive our food. I had to approach the server as he was serving the large party their entrees since they arrived much later than us. He advised they were plating the food now and it was coming right out. They brought my mom her food and not mine. I waited another ten minutes and informed them I didn’t want my food, to which they brought it out in a box and made me pay for it. I advised the manager that the service was horrible and that we were celebrating my mom’s birthday dinner, which was ruined. He didn’t apologize, instead he stared blankly. This place charges an additional twenty five percent in service and resort fees. I’d recommend dining elsewhere.

   Our dinner was great however the service was incredibly slow. It took an hour to get a drink from the bar and the appetizer came out before the drinks did (which we ordered first). The food made up for the service as it was outstanding.

   Bao offers a varied Asian menu. Prices were fair. We both had Pad Thai which was very good although I thought the shrimp were too hard. We also had edamame. We had the salted variety which was very tasty. My only complaint was the music was too loud ( although they turned it down when I asked ) and the noise from people talking was very loud. ( like a NYC restaurant). But overall for a weeks stay it is worth dinner for one night.

   The food here is outstanding and the staff is very friendly. The indoor dining room is very loud with conversation but it's not too much of a distraction. This was our second visit to Bao and we can't wait until next time!

    Very bad experience We arrived at 8pm for our dinner and was not served any food till 9:45 pm The manager when questioned was unapologetic and didn’t feel the need to explain the delay The food was mediocre for the cost
