   I was a little disappointed, the drink that I got said candied mushroom, unfortunately it was just raw mushroom. The candied mushroom would have brought the drink to the next level because it would have tempered the A5 Wagyu and made it more like an old fashioned.

   Nice little bar, a little pricey, good enough service but nothing spectacular or memorable. Can appreciate the inventiveness of the signature cocktails but just not really for me I guess. Whoever is running the music should get a raise it was AWESOME

   Everyone, including our server, the bartender, and the host, was attentive. As for the recommendations our server made given our party's different tastes, she did a fantastic job with her drink selections for us all.

   Wonderful experience as Thalia was so warm and attentive. Manager Jason was awesome as well. Drinks and snacks were amazing. Can't wait to come back!!

   What can I say about this place? One word- "Magnificent" too much? not really, it was even better. The drinks were so good! the ambiance was just beautiful, the service was great, and the decor was just perfect! Such great people! date night idea? cha-ching! on this one.    This place is so intimate and esoteric that I cannot help but enjoy it. It is a small spot with a large impact on every accommodation, and you will enjoy yourself away from the world if you have a night here. I will be coming back!

   Bar Doko is a fun experience for people who want a more unique experience from the typical offerings here in Houston. A lot of their cocktails lean on more umami flavors, and highlights the Japanese influence this bar incorporates. That being said, some people may not enjoy that approach, but for those that do, will have a fun and unique experience. They source very specific ingredients for their drinks and quality shows in the taste. I highly recommend the "ei" eternity cocktail, which incorporates a wagyu fat wash with the whiskey and is apparent in the overall flavor of the drink, alongside the mushroom garnish complimenting the umami flavors. The imo negroni is a fun spin on the familiar compari bitterness with a sweet potato spin. Will definitely come back and try other items soon!

    One of Houston’s newest cocktail bars but, it’s more than your average bar it’s an bespoke experience like no other in the city. The 16 seat layout, Japanese inspired decor and uber crafty cocktails are the new gold standard for libations in the City! Reservations are a must!!!
