   Gorgeous small plates . Hot and so tasty . The cabbage was triumphant along with the prawns . Thankyou. A small space with well presented staff menu and service .

   Unfortunately this was very disappointing experience. Lots of the dishes displayed on the website were not on a menu when arrived at the restaurant dishes were very small and nothing for children absolutely nothing I booked a table for seven people and I said four adults and 3 children they could’ve told me that there’s nothing on the menu for children. Very disappointing. We spent £600 and was just not worth the money. Service very basic took forever for them to take the dirty dishes off the table. I wouldn’t recommend taking any children to this snack bar restaurant. It’s more of a snack bar I would definitely not be going there again Very disappointing . I thought we had the Portuguese restaurant but unfortunately Not this is just my honest review.

   A fantastic evening - we had one more person than we’d planned; the team were so accommodating and managed to fit us in, they were super attentive, and the food was excellent. Thank you very much!

   This is the second time I've been to Douro, previously for lunch, last night for dinner. Both times the food has been excellent and very reasonably priced. I was particularly impressed by the service both on the night, where it was attentive without being overbearing, and in advance when my booking number oscillated between 7 and 10 and the Douro team were quick to confirm that the changing numbers weren't a problem. I'll definitely be back as will the friends I came with last night.

   I met up with 3 other people who met on a tour of Portugal. We were delighted to meet up on this restaurant. Lovely decor, great food, wonderful staff...we had a great time. Highly recommended.

    I absolutely loved this place. Dinner for 4. We tried 8 dishes + dessert (probably could have eaten the same all over again it was so good). Pork cheeks were a stand out dish, but everything was amazing and the plates were clean every time!
