    We arrived at 4:55 pm for our 5pm reservation, greeted immediately and sat at our table, hostess let us know Marisa would be our server. 15 minutes laters nothing from anyone, we and completely ignored, even another male server who was waiting on a table next to us ignored the failure of service. we were in the back room and the only other table so it was obvious no one had been over, we left and stopped by the hostess stand to let her know we were ignored and leaving when she turned and said “Marisa! You never went to their table” needless to say we won’t be back.

    Lovely atmosphere and comfortable seating. Appetizer calamari and shrimp very tasty. Enjoyed our dinner entrees chicken Parmesan with side pasta. Delicious marinara sauce & fresh mozzarella. Waitress was attentive but short on answers to questions we had based on prior experience with dinner. Overall we enjoyed dinner and will definitely return.

    We had Dinner reservations for 2 at 815 pm at Bar Italian. We were seated very quickly at very nice table at 745 pm by the wonderful hostess staff. The food and service staff was excellent and Branzino was cook perfectly. We are looking forward to our next visit to Bar Italian in Lakewood Ranch.
