The atmosphere, food and service were excellent! Ask to be seated in the section with server, Julien, who is extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and resourceful! Both the Caesar salad and kale salads were wonderful, the steak frites was grilled (rare) to perfection and the roasted half chicken was so juicy! We stayed late and the vibe got even more lively! I highly recommend Bar La Rue for a great night out!

This is my Second time at bar la rue. My first experience was amazing So I expect it to be the same For the second time. UNFORTUNATELY it did not exceed my expectation. The waiter and server rush us and is not considerate that we are deaf and is catching up with stuff with a long time friend so they expect to rush us and throw us away. It was not right.

First time checking them out for brunch! I’ll be back. Tried French toast and lobster omelette. Both were great for sharing. Spotted fondue and oysters that will make me return!

Great experience! They were very accommodating. We were 45 minutes late due to traffic but they held our table for us. The staff were super friendly. Noah and Brandon took great care of us. The smash burgers were outstanding and the drinks also. Prices were very reasonable for Chicago. It's a small menu but what they make was very good.

Service was very good. Food was good. Prices were OUTRAGEOUS! $17 for ONE piece of French Toast! $12 for 6 potato sticks! Come on - that’s ridiculous, even for pricey Fulton Market!
