    We celebrated my mom's 93rd birthday here and it couldn't have been more special. The entire restaurant staff were courteous, extremely helpful making our time there perfect. The appetizer selection was very good, the pita sampler, calamari and lamb meatballs were excellent. The Lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The sea bass was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The chicken skewers, excellent as were the scallops. We ate outdoors on the patio and were very comfortable, there are an abundance of heat lamps. We would highly recommend.

    We had high expectations for this place, but unfortunately, Barbayani fell short—particularly in terms of food taste and quality. There are many better Greek and Mediterranean restaurants in the area, including some takeout spots, that offer way better flavors at a fraction of the price. The only dishes we truly enjoyed were the calamari and the pistachio baklava. That said, the service was good—friendly, and welcoming. I just wish they put as much effort into the food as they did into the décor.

    We loved our experience at your restaurant. The ambiance, the food, the service was outstanding. Next time we eat in the main room when you first walk in, or outside. the room we were in was way too noisy. so hard to hear even across a table. upstairs might work, or the first table to the left when you walk in was perfect. we scouted it out for the next time. without a doubt it was a successful night out for all of us. our wait person was wonderful. thanks for a lovely time, elyse feldman

    1: We got stressed out to find a parking space, fortunately we found one empty spot on the front after we made only one circle around the building, was nothing empty behind.  2: We had made reservations for the dining area but the waitress wanted to sit us by the door. We rejected her idea and we moved from there to the main room. 3: We ordered fast (we had checked the menu on line) the appetizer came half an hour later and the main dishes another half hour later. We started wondering if they went to the super market to get the ingredients. 4: One appetizer and two main dishes (two people) with tax and tip $110,00. 5: Nice atmosphere, decorated with ancient Greek statues and jars in the recesses  of the walls. Tables covered with white table-clothes (very unusual) but the employees were more than the customers (Tuesday night) that makes you feel uncomfortable and also wondering about the future of this place. 6: This place is not running by Greeks. It's like going to a Chinese restaurant which is running by Mexicans. Now let's go to the food. The appetizer was Garides Saganaki or prawns with plaki sauce (roasted onions, tomatoes & vegetables). That was the highlight of the evening which was delicious.  Unfortunately the sea-bass was not soft, that means frozen, and probably microwaved. This dish came in a Melania's upside hat and it was full of hot vegetables in a soup, but the sea-bass in the middle was cold(!). All this unhappy experience, for only... $38.00. As far the Mousaka, goes, the sliced potatoes and the eggplants were okay, but the bechamel sauce was paper thin and burned. The lamb ragout tasted more like hard ground beef. One star for the elegant and classy environment and another star for the appetizer. Bottom line: our experience was bitter sweet special for so much money. I wish them well, but we don't plan any visit at least for the near future. Another one off my bucket list.

    We were a group of 5. All food was quick to arrive, hot foods were hot, all food was well plated and had very good flavor. We all had drinks from the specialty drinks list, and they were all really delicious and beautifully presented. We are a boisterous group, and enjoyed the energy of the place. Our waitress was amazing!!! I am sorry I don’t remember her name. She made the night even more fun.

    Food mediocre, no salt no taste not authentic. All people around us just left half off the meal on the plate and took one bite of the dessert and left the place, it was an disaster

    Not sure if it was just the Valentine’s Day experience, but the food was atrocious and the service was completely chaotic. Beautiful dining room and decent servers, but they all seemed brand new.
