We reserved a table for our daughter and her friends for her birthday and pre-ordered a bottle of champagne. Benny was so gracious on the phone, and made our daughter's experience so special by giving their table extra attention and lots of laughs. My daughter said her homemade pasta bolognese was one of the best she's had in NYC.

My GF and myself have been here a number of times. We don't feel rushed and management staff are very nice. The food is always great! Great ambience too,!

Excellent midtown Italian restaurant. We were a Table of 7 - service was top notch. gave food 4 stars only because we did not sample any specials, and the kids mostly had simple pasta dishes. The bronzino was well prepared and tasty! We will be back to dive deeper into the menu

We ate at Barola on a Saturday night during the holiday season. It was great fun. We selected it because it was close to our hotel given the cold weather, and highly rated. We made a good choice. The food was good, the service was efficient and the ambience was lively. My spaghetti di mare was excellent. My husband‘s pasta with chicken was not as tasty. The Chianti was also very good. we loved the bread and our waiter was warm and friendly. I would definitely return.
