   The 7-course tasting at Bashan was nothing short of magical. Service was great, the food was, needless to say, phenomenal. All in all, an incredible experience from start to finish by a very experienced and artistic culinary team.

   The owner meet us at the door, like we were visiting a friend - very nice. The waiter was like a friendly, accommodating and professional. The only criticism I have is the the room temperature was a bit too warm. I would definitely recommend this restaurant...I only wish we had found it sooner.

   This was our first time to Bashan - we wanted to treat our friends to a fun, new place to dine. The wait staff wasn't especially warm and welcoming - more matter of fact like. Until we joked around did our waitress lighten up. My husband order the oysters and our friends had soup for a starter. They loved it! Dinner took a very long time... We had to ask twice when our food was coming. (Our reservations were at 6:30 and our food was brought at 7:30) Everyone enjoyed their meals (Halibut, duck, salmon) however, the portions were very small. (Not just small.... very small!) I hadn't had a starter... I still felt hungry afterwards. We brought in 2 bottles of wine ($18 corkage fee) and they did waive one fee. That was nice. Overall, my experience was great - but that's because the company we were with was great!! Next time I'd rather spend our $250 someplace that's really amazing, with excellent service and a decent portion of food that's brought out in a timely fashion.

   We stop by every few weeks on Sunday for the special Sunday hamburgers. Forget any other hamburger you have ever had. These are outstanding!

   The food was superb. The atmosphere is neighborhoodie and quaint. This is a hidden gem. My wife and I had a lovely time. We seemed to have ordered after a surge so service was leisurely -- but that was perfect for us. We wanted to have a relaxed time to savor the lovely food and talk for our anniversary.

   I used my Living Social voucher for the 5 item tasting menu at this neighborhood gem. The chef creates unusual and tasty amuse bouches to start off, followed by inventive courses. There is a wine pairing, too, if you are interested. The night I dined, there were more last minute customers than they anticipated, so service was a little slow. To make up for the wait, I was offered an additional menu item, as well as a 10% discount on a return visit.

   Was hoping to have everything better after reading all the good reviews. The price and the quality/taste of the food doesn't seem match. Overall everything wasn't bad, just okey.

    Really great food and perfectly seasoned. We did the 5 course sampler. Our only complaint is both parties have to have their meet cooked the same way. I like well done and my husband medium Rare. I Asked for well and it came out medium. Due to health issues could not eat it. Scallops exquisite will possibly come back and order scallop entrees only. Nice place. Good service.
