Established in 1991, this is the original B.B. King’s Blues Club located in Memphis, Tennessee, the home of American blues music, legendary musicians, famous barbecue. With live entertainment every night of the week – from authentic blues to classic soul and rock and roll – and a menu full of Southern favorites, the club is a popular destination spot on Memphis’ historic Beale Street. Booked 6 months in advance, had to pay a cover charge for the entertainment. Our table wants ready. After being seated took 20 minutes to get our drink order taken. Drinks were wrong! Not all the food came out had to ask after 10 minutes. Food was average at best, came out luke warm. Zero tip for suck a tourist trap

We had mad reservations for 6, and noted it was for a special occasion. When we arrived we paid 10$ a person for the band, which played 1 song while we were seated, then took a break. We were seated at a dirty table, that had what looked like ice cream was melted over it & the bench seat had a section not wide enough for a child to sit. We showed the waitress the mess and were told they would clean it, never happened. We moved tables before our food was delivered, which was delicious, yet we were never offered a second round of drinks, and the band came back from break in time to play 2 songs before our bill arrived.

The staff at the entrance was rude. We did not feel welcome at all. But once seated, our server was great, the food was great and the band playing was excellent. Need the old lady at the entrance removed and you’ll get a five.

Loved everything about BB King’s! The reservation process was easy and they greeted us with a smile, my mother in law had a walker and the assisted her getting to our table. Our server Rachel and her shadow Mya were so nice and helpful. The food was incredible!! Best Memphis pulled pork I’ve ever had. The portions were just right, not huge. The brownie sundae was awesome!! The music from the band was terrific! Great addition to the meal and created a very memorable experience. If your a tourist in Memphis, this is a great place to to go get a bit of Southern hospitality!

The overall experience was perfect for Beale Street. The music was bluesy, the ribs melted in my mouth. The catfish platter was also cooked to perfection. The service was helpful and friendly. Great experience!

We stopped here on our way back home to Southern CA. The food was delicious and the entertainment was good. You must try the bbq. The meat falls right off the bone. We will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. Recommend the catfish...bites and meal....outstanding! Music was fantastic...and it was at 5pm. Very good musicians.

BBKings needs to be taken off OpenTable. They do not “hold” tables. That is what the rude lady told us that was greeting guest at the door and assigning tables. Also there was a $20 cover charge fee that was not told to us on the Open Table App and not on their website . Terrible experience!
