Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market, The Loop and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners Andrew Ashmore, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. Our lunch was fantastic. The service was perfect, and the stars of the show food-wise were the ham and cheese croissant (insanely flaky yet buttery and melted ham and cheese throughout) and the peppermint chocolate donut for dessert. Our server was super friendly, staff was professional and attentive, and the ambience was impeccable. For a Saturday afternoon it was bright and lively inside while managing to keep a chill, friendly, and quaint ambience. This will definitely be a go-to anytime we need to run into a shop in Fulton Market.

Celebrated a colleague's birthday here by request. It had been a few years since I've visited. Food and service were great. Stroganoff was the best meal on our table. Enjoyed the chicken meatballs as well. Server was a bit stretched put with the number of tables but she held her own very well. Looking forward to returning.

My friend and I had a wonderful meal. The food is excellent. Our server was so efficient and very kind. This is the kind of place you can catch up with a friend and have the staff take your picture. I will go back!

Great food choices and quiet for a Saturday night. Our server Joe who was new as of a few days ago was polite and descriptive and made sure all of our dining needs were met. He informed us of drinks that may not be available and adjusted our dining choices to have "on the sides" to be sure our palates were met. The front staff and the dish clearers as well were prompt and courteous. Made dining out a joy.

Food was dry and flavorless- ordered a burger, which was burnt, and my fries were clearly left under a heat lamp for a little too long. My friend ordered spicy rigatoni, which looked and tasted like it was microwaved. Our server ignored us all night, but continually made the rounds at the table next to us all night. Awful service. Terrible food. I’d have a better time at Applebees.
