The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. Our waitress was lovely and never rushed us. The food was great. Restaurant was packed so it was noisy, but not impossible to have a good conversation.

We enjoyed our meal. Our only gripes are that Beatrix needs to fill its salt cellars and dial down the music because it was already very noisy in the restaurant.

The food and drinks were pretty good but it took over 15 minutes to be greeted with water, then another 10 to actually start on orders. Later, we weren’t checked in on frequently either. As a group of 9 this was somewhat frustrating. They were courteous and responsive to requests but should have checked in more.

The music was far too loud, making conversation difficult. However my server asked to have it lowered slightly and the accommodation was made!
