   We enjoyed an excellent meal accompanied by outstanding service at Beauty & Essex in the Cosmopolitan. Lue was our primary server. He was most congenial and offered perfect suggestions for our first time there. Each dish was beautifully plated and very creative. Kudos to Chef Chris Santos! We started with their famous Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Dumplings topped with smoked bacon served in individual free-standing spoons. A very surprising taste delight. Next, we had the Tuna Poke Wonton Tacos chiffonade with cilantro, radish, wasabi kewpie. Tasted as fresh and bright as if we were enjoying poke on the Big Island. This was followed by Thai Style Deep-Fried Shrimp with green papaya slaw. These were large, very crisp and super tasty and very much complemented by the papaya slaw. The last dish was their Little French Dips of slow-roasted beef, gruyère cheese, horseradish, garlic aioli with house-made au jus drizzled over the top. The beef was tender and very good but could have stood a bit sharper horseradish sauce to compete with the other dishes we tried. For desert, though we hardly had room left , we had an order of their Black-Bottomed Butterscotch Pot de Crème topped with coconut Chantilly and their mango sorbet. The butterscotch was sinfully good and the mango sorbet amongst the best we have had. Matching the delightful meal was the exemplary service offered throughout the dinner by the many waitstaff who passed our table.

   I’ve been wanting to try Beauty & Essex and it did not disappoint. We went along with all of our servers recommendations and she (Leah) did a wonderful job 10/10 recommend…Yellowtail Crudo, Little French Dips, Street Corn Ravioli and the doughnuts! All were delicious! And def get the “green with envy” cocktail 🤤 fantastic experience, we will definitely be back!

   The ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the tomato soup with grilled cheese dumpling. It was a creative twist on a classic comfort food—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The corn ravioli was another standout dish, with its delicate pasta and sweet, creamy filling that hit all the right notes. We also tried the beef Wellington, which unfortunately was well overcooked, While this was a small disappointment, it didn’t take away from the overall quality of the meal, as the flavors were still well-executed.

   We went for a post show meal. Good ambience but the service was Terrible. The server left for 29 plus minutes at a time. We requested drinks from others but they never acted and when he finally came back he said only he could help us. Oysters were meh (we are from Atlanta and get way better). The drinks we finally got were good but it was awful service wise. Worst service we’ve had in Vegas.

   Normally we love this place, but this time we were let down. It wasn’t that busy but took over 20 mins to even order a drink. The food came out really slow. First ordered dishes came out last and there was a lot of time in between dishes. We actually got full just sitting there waiting for our food and even ended up canceling some because it was taking so long.

   One of my favorite restaurants. Steak was fantastic, portion size is massive for sharables. Our server was thoughtful and fantastic! A staple every time when in Vegas!

   The waiter was quite rude when we said we were only there for drinks. The drinks were very expensive and mediocre at best. Won’t be returning
