I really wanted it to be better. It took close to an hour for us to receive our meal, and that was only after us alerting the staff that we had not been served yet. Our waitress was very friendly, but not as attentive as I would’ve liked her to be, especially given the length of time it took us to receive our food. Details such as our knife being dropped and not picked up, breadcrumbs on the floor around the seat as we were being seated, were definitely noticed. It was quite loud of which I wasn’t expecting for an afternoon brunch. The main meal was good as was the dessert. I highly recommend the deviled eggs as an appetizer. I was just expecting a little bit more from the Cavalier from a service and overall experience perspective.

Great concept, but they are clearly understaffed it took over 30 minutes to check in, the table before us went over their window, so we had to sit and wait till they were done without notice. Once we got to the table it took another 30 minutes for waitstaff to serve us, food took over an hour once ordered. It’s definitely not worth paying $100 to reserve a table in the winter wonderland igloo. We were on a deserted island so to speak. Don’t come there hungry and ready to eat because everything took forever.

Service was absolutely terrible. We had a 5:00 reservation, were seated shortly after 5, and it was like they were totally unprepared. There were no napkins at our table. Someone walked around putting candles on the tables 30 minutes into our stay. We're not ones to rush, but our entire experience was over 2 hours for just dinner and dessert. Our glasses were often empty while the server walked by not caring. The pork chop was dry. The salmon was good but a small portion. Brussels sprouts were by far the best thing there. The desert sampler was nearly inedible, and I will usually eat anything with sugar with no discrimination. The atmosphere is lovely, but not worth feeling like we were unwanted. $250 for a bad experience- never again.

The hostess was very pretentious, there was no x-mas ambiance,...which we came for.. this was the 27th of December, although we had a reservation we waited 10 minutes for our table, 4 ladies that came in behind us were seated right away, there were plenty of open tables. The waiter was great. Food was good, the salmon oversalted

Becca’s WAS the consummate dining experience when it opened, but food quality and service has deteriorated. This morning was no exception. The server was over tasked. There was something in my guest’s water PLUS no pastries available PLUS the food was just average. I am a Titanium Elite Member of Marriott, and this food was no different than a typical full Marriott hotel. Very disappointed as I was trying to prove my out of town guest “an experience”. Disappointing as well, that most of the decorations were down only two days after Christmas! It is still the holiday week, and there were only minimal decorations.

Not sure if it was because it was the day after Christmas or what but service was extremely slow. Once seated we waited around 30 minutes for anyone come to the table to take our drink order. It was another 30 minutes before we were able to put in our food order. The reservation was for 8pm and we did not get our food until 9:35pm.

Food was okay - not worth the price. Extremely loud as there was live music in the hallway right outside of restaurant. Waitress actually shut the doors to lessen the noise. Took quite awhile to get a bottle of wine- sommelier cane to table; discussed wine; we ordered a bottle; had to ask for it twice before it was brought to table. Our waitress was great but clearly a little overwhelmed as it seemed as though she had many tables. I am not sure it was like this because of the holiday but we won’t be returning.

This review will be a litmus test on how much responsibility a restaurant has to be on top of their reservations. Readers over 40 yrs old will likely agree with my sentiments, and most under 30 will view it as harsh, and filled with "negative Boomer energy". (I'm Gen-X btw). 1. We reserved an Igloo at Becca for a family dinner at 7.45pm. In addition to me and my.college aged daughters, my 84 year old father and his wife were joining us. The igloo table costs an extra $100 and is marketed as a premium "experience". 2. Two hours before our dinner reservation (7.45pm) the restaurant called to inform us that they had somehow allowed more reservations than they intended, and asked if we could come at 8.00pm instead. It really wasn't a question nor was it optional - we were being told our reservation was being moved to 8.00pm, but in the form of a request. I *graciously* agreed and said we will see you at 8.00pm. 3. At 8.00pm we arrive and are informed that our Igloo is still occupied, and they would text me when it's available. In short, our new reservation time was now being further delayed. I had to find my father, who has mobility and health issues, a place to sit while we waited out the second delay. 4. I was patient as 8.15 passed, and by 8.20 I did the Full Karen thing of asking the hostess what was causing the additional delay, and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was apologetic, and offered us complimentary glasses of champagne to make up for thr fact that that earlier party was "still finishing dessert". 5. At this point I calmly, but pointedly, gave the manager a strongly worded dressing down. I referenced the old Seinfeld scene at the car rental counter where Jerry explains "anyone can take a reservation...it's holding the reservation that's most important. Finally, around 8.30pm we were seated. The meal, service, food, and ambience were all excellent. I tipped well. But the delay was unacceptable and free champagne didn't "make it right".

I recently dined at Becca and while the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, the experience overall was underwhelming. The food was mediocre at best—not bad, but certainly not memorable. The real issue was the service. It was clear that the servers were stretched far too thin, trying their best to manage a full house with far too few hands. While I sympathize with them, this is a clear failure on the part of management. It’s unacceptable to leave your staff so poorly supported, especially during busy hours. If the restaurant wants to match its nice atmosphere with a quality dining experience, management needs to address the staffing issues immediately. Until then, I can’t recommend it.
