   This was the first time that I have eaten at Beckta. My colleagues had eaten there before. The ambience was good although a few loud tables but our group could still communicate. The service and food were excellent. Would definitely come again.

   This was a really good meal at a nice place. I think the ambiance at the wine bar area would have been nicer than in the dining room where we choose to eat. The service was great, we had a little wait for our drinks, but our server was helpful and friendly.

   We had an excellent evening at this restaurant. The layout, featuring smaller, more intimate rooms, greatly enhances noise management. The room we dined in accommodated 6-7 tables, providing a comfortable atmosphere where conversations could be held at a normal volume. It’s an ideal venue for those who prefer a quieter, less crowded setting. The service was outstanding. They were attentive without being intrusive. Every detail was handled proactively, ensuring we never had to ask for anything. We were scouting venues for a wedding dinner, and this establishment is currently our top choice, provided the guest list aligns with the room capacities available for private rental. We are eager to return and explore this option further.

   The food is amazing (5 course tasting menu) and the wine pairings perfect. Our server was outstanding: very friendly and knew her stuff. She took great care of us. The knowledge of the chef(s) of what goes together food wise is a true art!

   We were very underwhelmed by our experience. The charcuterie board was very boring and the hanger steak was far too salty. The server left us feeling ignored as there was a larger table next to us that she doted on and we had to try to get her attention several times as she ignored us. We ended up not getting our after-dinner drinks as the waitress had forgotten them. I would expect this from more mainstream restaurants.

   We've eaten at Beckta many times as it's one of our favorite restaurants, but not tonight. We wound up with a complimentary soup due to an ordering error. It was superb and, along with the green matcha cake, the highlight of our dinner. Unfortunately the mains were underwhelming. Both were much too salty - my husband's cornish hen and my salmon. My Swiss chard was far too oily and also very salty - inedible in fact. We mentioned this to our server and she topped up our wines as partial compensation. It's a shame as normally food is exceptional.

The chef has been made aware of the issue based upon your comments and has made sure that the situation won't be repeated.     As a table of former waitresses and bartenders, this was by far the best service we’ve ever had. Our waiter was attentive, polite, quick, and we had a wonderful experience. There was another gentleman helping out as well and he was also wonderful, he checked on allergies and made us feel at ease. Overall, the food was great, but the service ensured we had an even better experience. Thank you.
