BellaBrava New World Trattoria was born in 2005 in Downtown Saint Petersburg. Over the years since, BellaBrava has been voted Best Restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Best Italian, and is a perennial Guest favorite on Beach Drive.

Less formal than a ristorante, our service is casual, our prices remain reasonable and our emphasis is on a steady clientele rather than haute cuisine. Old World flavors mingle with New World flair. From seafood to traditional pasta, pizzas, and more, we are positive everyone will find something delicious to savor.

BellaBrava’s unique Woodstone™ ovens cook delicious pizzas and a guest favorite, the Crostata.

Our server was great but we had asked to have time between the entres and the main course but this was not respected. We had not yet finished our entres when we needed to get rid of them to make room for the main meal. The food versus price was not comparable. The seafood pasta was terrible, the “hot” pizza was like a frozen pizza from the grocery store. I would expect that the ambience, the food, service was like the wow physical looks of the restaurant itself. Now about the noise, WOW, we could not hear ourselves talk at all. The people inside were so loud and the way the seating areas are made, you had no sounds being blocked. The stupid fast service of bringing your food was like a fast food restaurant which is not good for price and type of restaurant. I would not recommend this place if you want fantastic food and service. Only for people that want to wait even with a reservation to be seated than have you rush to eat, charge an arm and a leg and have you on your way. Never again

I came here 3 years ago and it was one of the best meals I ever had. Came back and the first dinner in St. Pete was here. The food was not even close to as flavorful or high quality as I remember it being. Also there were homeless people coming up to us during our dinner asking for money, one with her shirt unbuttoned and breasts coming out. Really disappointed as I won’t be dreaming about coming back here anymore.

We had a large table and we all enjoyed our food! Presentation was fantastic as well. Prices seemed affordable. We sat outside- the atmosphere is amazing!

Service and Food were excellent. Veterans receive 15% discount according to Facebook. A little disappointed that other places give 15% off either the total check or the total bill minus alcohol.. Bella Brava only gave 15% off my entree which was $3... not much,,, Also, the wine we ordered and what was served, was questionable. 2 - 9oz pours of the Austin Cole Cabernet Sauvignon. It had an extreme flower taste, Very odd for a Cabernet Sauvignon. thinking about it now, we should have sent the wine back but really didn't want to upset the dinner Overall we had a very evening.

We enjoyed our dinner at Bella Brava… Always a personal favorite… Last evening we thought the chicken Parm was overcooked and was not hot nor served with enough marinara sauce to really enjoy the meal… But we love Bella brava and will definitely return!
