   We had reservations, but were finally seated about an hour and a half later. After getting a table, it took another hour for the cook to show up. After the cook showed up and the food started coming out, we finally received our salads and soups towards the end of the dinner. At the end, it took another 30 minutes to get to-go boxes and get our bill paid. Thanks to the cook “Manny” for doing a good job cooking and even helped us with the service to get us basic things like utensils, drinks , salads and even to-go boxes. The waiter was nice, but seemed overwhelmed with the multiple tables he was trying to serve. Same thing for the bar service, very nice but overwhelmed. After 1 year, we decided to give this place a second chance, and were equally disappointed. We spent almost $400 when you add the bar service since we had such a long wait with appetizers and drinks. How are you going to make this right, Benihana- Addison? If you ask me, I would like a full refund!

   I made a reservation for 7:30. It was me, my husband and my 3 year old. Tell me why they said it would be an 1.5hr wait. Why take reservations? When I explained I have my 3 year old, I can’t wait. They had zero remorse. I even asked why take more reservations than what you can accommodate, they blamed open table. Tacky.

   Wait over 1 hour for our reservation. Ended up being in the restaurant for over 3 hours

   They sat us an hour later than our reserved time. Food show was bare minimum with little engagement with group. Drinks took 30 min to reach our table.

   The good: the chef was great, the food was very good. The not so great: our server was good at first, but increasingly grew absent and towards the end of the experience stopped bussing our plates and acted surprised and a bit bothered when we asked for the ice cream and tea that was included in our dinner… also he charged us incorrectly and acted bothered to fix it. Not sure if he was having a bad night, but we were kinda disappointed.

   The quality of food was not very good. Also, the chef was not exciting or engaging. Luckily our 4 year old still had fun, but it was not like I remember when I was a child.

   What the points to make reservations for when I got there 15 minutes before my reservations and still have to wait for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

   The food and service were great. We did have to wait 30 minutes despite having a reservation, but that's the only negative to the experience, especially when the hosts told us it would be a 1.5 hour delay. (I suspect that scared people that were waiting off and got us seated quicker.)

    I have never had a bad experience with any Benihana I have ever been to. Just to be clear. The only issue we had was they were either short staffed or overbooked. Our reservation was for 5:30 and upon arrival we were told they were running an hour to and hour and a half behind. We did wait and we're lucky we only had to wait an extra 30 minutes. I wish there was a way reservations could be notified of these types of issues for the future. Our chef was so awesome and fun and we sat with an amazing group of very nice people.
