After ten years of continued success in the New York metro area, Benjamin Restaurant Group is proud to open its newest space, Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. Here, modern elegance is combined with traditional steakhouse classics, while also showcasing signature standouts from highly regarded sister property Benjamin Steakhouse. After perfecting both steakhouse and seafood concepts in their arsenal, Benjamin Restaurant Group is highlighting the grill at Prime, serving up USDA prime dry aged steaks and succulent seafood in unique ways. The 10,000 square foot space houses an expansive main dining room featuring wall mounted fireplaces. A temperature-controlled wine wall is exposed throughout the upper level which also offers five customizable private dining spaces for seating of up to 100+ guests.

    Food is great as always. As I was leaving the restaurant I was grabbed by our waiter and he asked “Sir was something wrong with the service” I said no. He proceeded to tell me that “ the suggested tip is $57 then”. I had a left a $30 tip. It’s beyond me that a waiter would feel comfortable to grab my arm to ask for a higher tip. I’ve never experienced this level of entitlement from a restaurant worker.

    I love that you guys had a Barolo by the glass. Please keep it on the menu. Please keep doing the restaurant week $60 special. Perhaps the best steak deal in NY and I’ve been going for years to get this deal specifically. A good marketing tactic as you’ve earned my retention. Keep it up.

    Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Portions were generous and cooked to perfection. We had the lobster bisque and grilled calamari for appetizers and the rib eye and filet mignon with mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts for our entrees. We could hardly eat the dessert that came with the restaurant week menu but we did our best. The cheese cake was divine. Highly recommend for an overall enjoyable dining experience.

    Very noisy. The desserts were not great northern sides. Salad was good but small portion. The steak was very good.

    We enjoyed the restaurant week menu. Beautiful presentation. Delicious steaks. Desert was yummy. There is a very extensive wine list. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

    Went for restaurant week with a friend for the $60 dinner special. Also ordered the Pinot Noir wine that was a special price. Portion were perfect & food tasted amazing! I will be back!
