This is a very special location... previously La Cote Basque... now Benoit... the staff is great... the wine list amazing... some of the food was very good... some, a bit plain and uninspired... desert was great... definitely worth a visit because we went on Valentine's Day which isn't really a good evening to judge their skill set properly. Enjoy!

Other than the very high noise and a table for :4 prople it was excellent as usual These small but beautiful restaurants should keep the customer number and noise under control

When in Midtown, you have to stop in for lunch, or afternoon glass of wine. This bistro serves the best wines by the glass in the City. Also, the price points are reasonable too! As a bonus, the staff are professional and so accommodating.

We had a lovely, relaxed, and incredibly smooth evening at Benoit! It was our second visit in the past few weeks, and both times we’ve been taken care of exceptionally well by Paul. He really took care of us—thank you! Ambience is warm and transportive, food was excellent as always, really quite comforting.

One of the few places I can get Quenelles de Brochet outside of Paris. These were very good. My wife was not totally overwhelmed by her Dover Sole, but the wonderful waitstaff certainly carrie the day. Very glad we sat at a banquette. We wound up sharing our tarte tatin with a charming neighbor. The $12 Restaurant Week Vouvray was an unexpected plus!

most of the table ordered the rest. week menu. the cauliflower soup was good, the tarte flambee was ok, the duck was ok, the char was ok (both entrees were well cooked but dull) the citrus tarte was good, as was the creme brulee. the service was good. our table was next to a strip of metal that protected a slight change of elevation on the floor, right in the walkway between tables, and a woman tripped. that is not a good solution
