   Food and coffee were very good. Looked like they were short staffed but that didn't effect us much. Coffee aroma was so good. I'd go back again.

   This is probably the worst cafe I’ve ever visited. We booked an outdoor seating which was in a very small courtyard right behind the restaurant. There are 2-3 small tables, unused garden patio umbrellas and a locker in that tiny courtyard. It’s so filthy and dusty in that area, feel like it’s never been cleaned. We waited for our food for about 45mins, I’m not sure why it’s taking so long because it’s not busy at all, probably only seated with 5 tables of people. Food and coffee were overpriced.

   We had a wonderful celebration at Bentwood. The AvoSmash was smashing! Loved the coffee too. Will be back here soon!

   Took my mum to Bentwood for lunch today. Her first time in Melbourne could not have been better with the great food and the coolest vibe. The menu options were varied and we gorged on sumptuous schnitzels and smoothies. The staff was friendly and helped choose the best options. Bentwood is the kinda place you’d want to be on a lazy Saturday afternoon! Def coming back again!

    I appreciate that they allowed split bill but I had high expectations for this venue and it sadly didn’t deliver. I work in hospitality so I have high standards when it comes to customer service. It wasn’t busy - I put our menus to the side and was staring at staff for a good 5-10minutes and they didn’t come over, I had to go up to ask for my drink to be redone as it wasn’t what I asked for and tell them we needed to order. Staff didn’t smile much and food looked ok. Though my burger was really tasty.
