   Food was decent, but service was extremely inefficient. One meal came cold and we had to send it back and they "checked in" about 5 times to tell us it would be right out, but everyone else had been finisehd for a long time before it came. When it did we had them put it straight into a box and left. They were apologetic and comped that meal, but it should not have happened.

   We intentionally made a 5 pm reservation for a large group and it being V-Day. We were immediately brought to our table and soon there after our waiter came to take our drink order. He promptly returned with waters/non-alcoholic drinks and then over the course of the next 30-45 minutes, we got our bar drinks (not all together but 1 by 1 (or 2). The Host actually delivered a bottle of wine first while we continued to wait for the rest of the drinks. At this point, the dining room was filling up and other tables were ordering and receiving their food and we hadn’t even placed our order. I immediately asked the waiter even before the last bar drink was served if we could put in our order which he did come back and take (1:15 into our seating). Our soups & salads came out short 1 and it took a bit to get the final salad. Our meals were served all together, again minus 1, which was served right after the rest but it was now 1:45 in to our seating. Half of our party was heading into Boston for an 8:00 pm show and we anticipated they would have plenty of time with a 5:00 pm reservation, but they quickly ate their food and left at 7:25 - almost 2 1/2 hours after arriving. The rest of us remained and boxed up what was left. I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of Bertucci’s and the food did not disappoint. I can’t say the kitchen was a problem because once they had our order it was prepared quickly. Unfortunately, I have to blame the waiter on not taking our order in a timely manner. We will return to Bertucci’s as I said we have always been a fan, but I think management needs to address training with waitstaff and bartenders.

   Continued inconsistency at this restaurant. Last time we went it was good / this time we both had chicken parm and both servings were grossly over cooked to the point that the outside was visibly burnt and then they tried to cover it up with cheese. For some reason both dishes were served with virtually no tomato sauce so we needed to ask for more on the side. In addition, while the pasta was hot, both chicken dishes were served lukewarm. It’s like the chicken was ready and then sat for a while they made the pasta. The restaurant was not very busy the night we went so that really should not have been an issue.

   Food was served hot and was well prepared exactly as ordered. Portions were large which was nice. Scott, our server, was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Good service at Bertucci’s makes a huge difference.

   Have been to Bertucci’s for years and always good service, delicious food. This trip was the worst. Waited 40 min to get soup….. it was cold. Manager apologized and took it back…. But never brought me hot soup! 30 min later our pizza arrives. Cold as well. Manager apologized and heated it up…still cold. We were hungry, so just ate cold pizza. Then waitress brings me hot soup! It was delicious too! They comped nearly the entire meal, so we’ll be back. Seems like they need to get there act together. Getting hot food from the stove/oven to the customer should not be so difficult.

   Our food was good but unfortunately they are understaffed. They intentionally slow the seating so that waiters are not overwhelmed with multiple tables at once, but this creates a huge backup at the front and everyone has a reservation at the same time. Our food came out an hour and a half after our reservation time, we didn’t get rolls until after that despite asking multiple times and our salads were forgotten until we asked. There were many open tables but our waiter seemed stretched thin between the ones that were occupied.

    Took 45 minutes for our salads to arrive and another 35 for the entrees. The waitress ignored us instead of giving updates. I had to get up twice to ask where the food was. She said there was a problem with the pasta machine, although several of our orders did not involve pasta. The food was mediocre at best, and the service abysmal.
